As I was opening my package of fresh-caught wild sockeye salmon from Costco, I noticed something white wigging around...what appeared to be some kind of worm! Yikes! Some people say it's normal for fish to have worms (if they're still alive, it means the fish is really fresh?) and others claim it's not. I didn't know what to do...what would YOU do?!? I ended up returning the fish to Costco. It was probably okay to eat, but I was too icked out to feed it to my kiddies. The folks at Costco were super-nice about it and I got my money back. Thanks for watching and please subscribe to my channel! :) -Janet
wow mazin: It's like saying salt is salty.
golden child: Most people that eat at fast food 'restaurants' have eaten much worse things than a simple worm.
Lawrence Evans: Stur-fry the worm with the salmon : ) tasty!
Carl Favorito: It's not just Costco and it's not just salmon. Google Worm in Salmon. And this is not just a worm. It's an internal parasite that could infect you.
Brandon Noftall: You are annoying as hell... all fish have worms. ....
Opsanglerjp: Cook it and ur fine
El Taco Mex: oh my gaaaaaawd youve been eating parasites 😂😂😂
Jose Rodriguez: Annoying voice. Annoying attitude. Disliked!
Simon w: Wow Sooooo blonde
Brian Lee: I'm having a similar dilemma but on a different topic. My girl wants me to go down on her, but she just peed and the last time she showered was 24 hrs ago and she pooped a couple of hrs ago. What do I do?
Luis Castro: she is really dramatic like its just a parasite cook it and the parasite will get weakend so it cant do any harm to a human like dam u gotta be so dramatic of it like no u dont
Nick: you get what you pay for
Liz Cinciarelli: That's just the one you were able to see! ALL fish have parasites. Only eat deep frozen, then thawed, fish
Jmichael Isbell: The very BEST sushi houses in the world, ALWAYS flash freeze and thaw. But, the WAY some people freeze can cause a problem, like leaving it out before freezing, or holding it in the refrigerator for a few days, THEN freezing. But the best approach is to get the meat dead on fresh, and immediately flash freeze. There is a famous Sushi house in New York, open 24/7 and people pay a fortune to eat there. By law and by good science, they flash freeze in a super cold freezer, then thaw each day as needed, people swear by the "freshness" of the Sushi, but it was frozen to insure it's safety. If you want safety on the other end, high heat cooking works as well. NO "medium rare" crap though; there are tables available on line to show you what temp/how long/thickness of fish fillet; follow the freeze rules and/or the cooking rules and you will be OK. YES, there are fishes known to NOT carry worms, those are the "Pelagic" fishes, like the tuna family and so on. I know guys who take a tuna on their boat, prep it right then and there, and eat it raw--not me, but I do see their point, as those fishes are just not likely to be carrying a worm.
Ynvme2013: omg this broad just wasted several minutes of my life listening to this dumb ass rant and she never once showed the worm!!
Alan Huang: This is a wild one buy the farmed raised one
Ralf White: She is beautiful
Edana Estenes: IT'S A FRIGIN TAPEWORM. THESE WORMS CAN GROW 30 FEET LONG INSIDE YOUR INTESTINES. BRING IT BACK TO THE STORE.
Futur Pilot: i dont like ger caractere
Idk: Wild salmon have a very very high chance of containing these little worms while farmed salmon has little to no parasites.
