Just a little something a friend of mine found in Costco Salmon
Odd Kookie: If u cook it or freeze it they should die
qin shi huangdi: i thought the rice was worms XD
ravyn tate: Any one who just buys a random supermarket fish flit and makes sushi out of it isn't very bright some supermarket have some sushi grade fish for sale so buying one of those and making sushi is safe but making anything else into sushi or shasmi asking for trouble
Hortencia Moreno: Kirkland is Sam's club?
Anthony Wijaya: Use sushi grade fish you dummy
Rig 80: COSTCO SALMON NOW WITH %3 MORE MEAT WHEN THERES WORMSSSSSSSSSSSSSSZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzz
WashingtonWebFoot: Almost all fish of all species will be infested with nematodes. If you eat fish you've already consumed some. You're still alright, ain't you?
World According To Mark: If you properly freeze it first, it will kill the parasites.
clare5 one: For 17.00 USD you got a meal with pets.
Kayla Dunn: Well, no more raw fish for me
brettdarrellpatrick: That can’t be your sushi. Sushi grade fish is not bought at Costco in plastic wrap.
Yukine Hiruko: Do people not know what wild means? Listen people if you catch anything wild you need to expect some parasites/worms. If you want farmed fish then that's fine just know that they use chemicals to keep them from getting worms/ Parasites. Either way you should definitely cook your fish to a safe temperature, before eating it and you should be fine.
To Release is To Resolve: Wild fish are very likely to have worms. That is why you cook it or freeze it prior to consumption.
potat: don't use costco salmon for sashimi! only buy it if you're going to cook it, if you want to make a raw salmon dish, then you have to find a place that sells sushi grade salmon so you know its safe! don't just buy any raw salmon from the store and use it for sashimi,
Itz Kae: all raw meat has worms in them. you just have to cook them out.
Mahmoud Labib: looks like wild salmon. You shouldn't prepare sushi from that without freezing first as per FDA. The farmed salmon shouldn't have any parasites and can be used to make sushi after giving it a light cure first. Do your research before starting to consume raw fish !
Hannah Renee: C o s t c u m o
Cc P: Eeeeeewweewwwwwwwwww makes me not want fish anymore
Fertility Queen: I've seen a live one swirming in salmon fillets of Costco! In that pack this was 2014
the greek guy viva-greece: wild fish has worms. freeze it or cook it. the problem yaall should be worried about is Japans fukushima that radiation has hit our coast (ca), and has no way to stop cuz they're still leaking and the cooling water is being poured into the ocean. most if not all water life is affected and harmed in some way now... sad truth of our new world.... believe what u want it's your choice, it's in the bible.........
