Dam Removal Day 14

Day 14 of the Ballville Dam Removal

TWSTF 8: Lol
You stopped adding music.

Did the complaining finally get to you?

(I think it was more the choice of music, rather than the fact that there was music. Of course, you can't make EVERYBODY happy, right?!?)

Good flying though.
Thanks for doing this!! 👍👍

Daniel Irvin: Thoroughly enjoying this series.

Johnny Schneider: By draining the river, how bad did the fishing population change

UV Media: AND FISHING IN FREMONT IS NOW OVER. FOR WHAT? Fuck the community lets not put any money towards that or any programs bringing us together. Lets make up a big money reason to tear down the Dam. Workers tearing it down said NO WAY was the Dam falling apart could of been there for another 100 years. Great job Fremont. Oh yeah I'm still loving the half grassed empty lot the middle school was on. BIG PLANS

dab1106: as you looked at the water intake, there did not seem to be much water in the area, I wonder is the city excavating the rock and silt that could plug the intake?

Elstan McFrolicker: The local tv needs to get Jerry Springer to bring on Elon Musk and Pedo Guy to debate the best way to finish the demolition

Lynn Smith: That is nasty looking water. Green slime, probably from fertilizer runoff, or something worse.

George Canvin: There is no “R” in the word “washed”.

Paul Coburn: What kind of drone and camera are you using for this??

eric field: question:
--there was talk of removing an earlier 'wooden dam' in the same general area, that was to have been uncovered when the pond went down...
--any signs of that? --or do they think it's covered in the silt build up behind the old one??
(sometimes out here, during heavy drought, the reservoirs reveal all sorts of stuff... -cars, towns, --and older dams.)

thanks as always for the vids, keep'm flying.

Anton Schutte: what range do you get on this drone, and what model is it? Great camera work and awesomely stable

RobyourDuke: can u do a before and after video

Joshua79C C: A more efficient way would be if they use a diamond cutting wire to cut through both the steel rebar and concrete which creates much less wasted time and waste to clean up into still manage-able pieces an excavator or crawler crane can handle.

toysareforboys: I subscribed to your channel to get new dam updates, but youtube doesn't show me when you upload a new video :(

Chuck Miller: Can't wait to see it after a good thunderstorm, thanks Bruce keep up the great work.

Jason Harper: WISH IT WAS 95 HERE INSTEAD OF 115

Dana Abfall: I’ve always noticed that the river is really muddy. I live east of you by about 70 miles but I frequent the Fremont area. I would guess that after the river is blown out from flooding a few time and all the sediment is washed down street the water should clear up quite nice. It’s always good for the ecosystem to be restored to its natural state. I would bet that after a few good floods of you fly the drone over muddy creek bay there will be new sand bars and it should look a little different.

fernando levrino: ¿y la represa?? ¿que ocurrio??

tony seelbach: I really have enjoyed watching your videos.Where is this dam in relation to Ohio river / Cinci ? Why did they demo the dam ? Keep iup the good work.
Thanks
Tony

g mass: What kind of drone are you using ? Is it real expensive ?
