wizz tzab: All fishes stand a chance of having parasites such as anisakis, tapeworms, hookworms, etc... especially if it is wild caught. Live parasite = very fresh fish. Freezing the fillet at -4F degrees for a week will surely kill all parasites. All sushi fish fillets need to be flash frozen properly to become sushi grade before raw consumption -clearly this restaurant has skipped this very important step.

Dekidour: It was probably fresh out of the water, they freeze the fish to kill any parasites/worms.
